Michael O’Shea - Listen Back
Last February I was invited by Albert Twomey of Cork City Library to introduce a playback of Michael O’Shea’s 1982 self-titled album as part of the library’s “Listen Back” series in the Rory Gallagher Music Library. When contacted by Albert I was only too happy to give a talk about Michael, I joked to the audience that I was really familiar with the Music Library from my late teenage years and that it had ultimately cost me a fortune in blank tapes.
